My multimedia

The Sony Playstation 3 is a piece of technology that I am quite interested in, and it’s safe to say it is my favourite gadget of all time this is because the system has no limits and can update with new technology breakthrough such as 3D gaming which is another step forward in gaming.

When purchasing a gaming system many people are stuck on which console to choose, mainly people are stuck between an Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. Personally I think it has to do with preference and which gaming console you are more attracted to, kind of like Pepsi and Coke, you always prefer one more than the other. The reason that I prefer the Playstation 3 is that I have always had Sony consoles since a young age; you could say that I was loyal to the brand? Or that I was just comfortable with the controllers?

The ps3 has a number of useful and amazing features such as high definition gaming. This really puts you into the game with great sound and visual effects; this is also incorporated with the blu ray player which allows you to watch high definition movies on your TV without additional cost to a blu ray player.

Most of all the best thing about the Playstation 3 is the exclusive game titles that are exclusive to the console, these include Gran Turismo which is coming out anytime soon, heavy rain and Uncharted

Design Process

When continuing with media in A2 at college our task was to create a magazine of our choice. At this point I gathered ideas and wrote down a list of things I was most interested in, I had done this because creating a magazine which I am personally interested in will benefit me as I will have my own knowledge on the subject and hopefully more material to offer.
Near the end of deciding what to base my magazine on I short listed a few ideas such as fashion, cars and music. After a while of deciding I finally chose to base my magazine on fashion.
Once I discovered the magazine genre I started to design my magazine. I had started this by looking at other fashion magazines such as ‘The Source’ and decided to follow the usual conventions. I started to sketch a few ideas and planning the photos which I would take and use.
I had sketched 2 ideas out for the front page of the magazine and then went to my target audience to get their opinion on which sketch was the best. Once I had done this I found which sketch to base my magazine cover around, and then I adapted my images around the template that I had created in Adobe Photoshop.
Throughout creating and designing my magazine cover I had been asking my target audience about their opinions towards my work and improvements that they could suggest and then I incorporated their feedback into my final product.

white board Animation

After getting a feel of the multimedia course we got assigned a task to do which was to create an white board animation. We got told we had to use a single white board and a camera and take 120 photos (frames) which was then I thought this was going to take ages! But after getting to know the people in my group and deciding the storyboard it became a fun task and it only took us an hour!

5 Long Hours!

After 5 long hours i had finally downloaded Autodesk 3d Max 2011 which was 3GB downloaded over a 1mb connection!
